Much of the work on My Kit Bag has been done by Richard
Holt and Mark Roberts - with a lot of help from a number of other experts and professionals.

Richard HoltRichard Holt is a 400m hurdler who
was a National finalist in 1995 and has been coaching athletes with a range of
abilities since 1993. He is a qualified UK:Athletics coach with experience of
coaching all levels from total beginner to international level. As well as
running a group at Kingston in London, Richard has been Head Coach of the Reigate and
Banstead Active Sports scheme for youngsters, works at St. Pauls Boys School, and has coached kids throughout
Surrey on a variety of events.
As an athlete he is particularly interested
in all aspects of strength, speed and endurance.

Mark RobertsMark Roberts is a fully qualified personal trainer who has been
helping clients for 15 years. He is also a conditioning coach for Harlequins
Rugby Club.
Formerly a rugby player, himself, with Rosslyn Park and Harlequins,
Mark is now a decathlete of some distinction, having got the silver medal in the
2003 Southern Championships, as well as winning the Surrey Championships on
several occasions.
Mark's other interests include any activity outdoors from rock climbing
to surfing, giving him a great understanding of various activities and the
ability to tailor anyone's training sessions to their specific sport or hobby.

Owen LewisOwen Lewis has both a degree in Sports Science and a masters in Sports Psychology. He has
used both to progress his career as a National League Basketball player and
also to help others train their minds to accompany the their physical training.
Now back in the UK after a stint coaching basketball in America, Owen coaches
Kingston Ladies basketball team and trains as a 400m runner. He also teaches
A-level physical education at Esher College.

Marc TrevisanMarc Trevisan has been skiing for most of his life, turning his
hobby into a career over the last few years. He now works, teaches and trains in the
Alps all winter and is a BASI qualified ski instructor. He has worked in
various countries in Europe teaching skiers with a range of abilities.

Fiona HoltFiona Holt is a swimmer who has contributed the section on this sport.
She has competed to Southern Counties level of competition, a fine achievement, as
she only entered the sport at 21 - after most swimmers have retired! Now 33, she
is still swimming near her best.
