Getting fit for skiing is something often
underestimated or (worse still) completely over looked by the vast majority
of recreational skiers.
Of course, not everyone has designs on being the next downhill champion,
but whatever your current level of ability, inadequate physical preparation
has three main consequences:
Reduced stamina, meaning you get tired more quickly and require more stops.
Lower technical performance, as a result of limited muscular efficiency and restricted flexibility.
Greater risk of injury, due to muscle weakness and fatigue.
